African Turquoise is not Turquoise but a unique Jasper that is found in Africa. Named for its obvious resemblance to its namesake, African Turquoise has its own unique properties. It is a supporter of the Throat Chakra and stabilizes disorganized energy in the energetic body - because of this it can balance mood swings. 2021 was my first time working with this crystal and like all Jaspers it has a very calming centering energy!
